Our client a leading company in Digital TV services providing various bouquets with a specialty in General entertainment, movies, lifestyle and culture, sports, documents, news, and commerce. The company launched in 1995 with over 7 million subscribers is looking for a professional, customer focus, resourceful, agile and imaginative person to fill the position of Head of Sales, Marketing & Retention Manager.

Job Purpose/Summary
To oversee the success of the company: leading from the front to provide guidance and direction to the Kenya commercial team ensuring that the business unit achieves its defined goals and objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Ensure customer and channels are being targeted with the right offer at the right time.
• Ensure continuous improvement and monitoring process are in place for all customers contact strategy and effective marketing activity
• Lead, develop and engage the team and support and equip them with the skills to manage relationships across all functions, to achieve a common set of goals.
• To provide creative leadership and ensure work of individual teams is proceeding on target in line with key indicators-budget, headcount, performance, diversity and compliance-through effective management.
• To develop suitable opportunities for raising the profile and use effective marketing and promotion to enhance the company aims.
• Managing all marketing for the company and activities within the marketing department.
• Performing with impact in matrix reporting organizations.
• Cross function between management and development across sales, marketing, Retention and customer experience.
• Subscriber acquisition, growth, retention, and experience
• Strategic planning and execution of short and long-term goals and objectives

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (commercial focus preferred)
• Master’s degree in a business impact focus area
• A substantial field as well as 8 years in senior-level commercial roles across Sales, Marketing, Channel, Distribution and Customer experience.
• Experience in Subscriber management (acquisition, retention, growth strategies)
• Experience in B2C and B2B
• At least 3 years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
